Abstract
The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is the primary corporate administrative services provider for Iowa state government. Through its four enterprises (Human Resources, General Services, State Accounting, Purchasing), DAS is the first state government agency in the country to successfully implement entrepreneurial management as a business model.
