Abstract
The Center for Acute Disease Epidemiology (CADE) uses the most recent Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE)/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) case definitions found at http://wwwn.cdc.gov/nndss/script/casedefDefault.aspx. These definitions are used to classify the case as confirmed, probable, suspect, not a case, or awaiting more information.
