Abstract
Planning Accreditation Board granted accreditation to the University of Iowa program leading to the Master of Arts or Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning degree. The accreditation is effective January 1, 2001, through December 31, 2005. A condition of the accreditation is that the program submit a progress report on or before September 1, 2002, addressing the following criterion area: (1.9) Educational Outcomes: Reports of measurable educational objectives, including information about the program's graduates. This is consistent with the Board of Regents' policy requiring outcomes assessment of all undergraduate programs.
