Abstract
This report documents progress Iowa has made during the second year (2018) of implementing Healthy Iowans 2017-2021, Iowa's state health improvement plan. It is based on reports from 99 partners that have contributed goals, measurable objectives and strategies for protecting and improving the health of Iowans. Not all strategies have been started and data showing measurable improvement from 2018 is often not yet available, but this report shows the extent to which objectives and strategies are on track, and how many may be falling behind. In addition, tracking progress on measures of health improvement shows improvement in Iowa’s health, and also shows areas where there is a need for continued concern.
