Abstract
IDPH is issuing this notice to inform mammography facilities of the State of Iowa’s transition of AB responsibilities to the ACR. This transition will gradually occur in order to align with the strategic plan of our bureau. This advanced notice will allow facilities time for budgetary planning prior to the transition. This change will be completed by 11/30/2019. IDPH mammography program staff will provide individual instruction to facilities on the transition process to the ACR when appropriate.
