Abstract
This report looks at the current situation in Iowa regarding inmates that have originally been sentenced to life without parole for an offense that was committed when they were a youth. This report is not intended as a policy statement, but a review of the history, court decisions, legislative actions and current situation as of March 12th, 2014.
