Abstract

The 60th General Assembly, by Joint Resolution 18, created a commission "to study the court system of Iowa with a view to reorganization of the court structure to secure the maximum utilization of personnel for the efficient handling of litigation". A report was submitted to the 61st General Assembly, which took no action on any of the recommendations. However, the legislature by Senate Joint Resolution 26, Chapter 484 of the Laws of the 61st General Assembly, continued the commission for two additional years. The report submitted herewith is the result of the further activities of this commission.
