Abstract
The purpose of this proposal is to outline specific proposed services, costs, and the time line for designing and conducting qualitative research, designing and conducting a quantitative telephone survey, and writing a report for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) regarding outdoor recreation in Iowa. We would very much like to assist the IDNR in determining Iowa residents' outdoor recreation use patterns and needs, which will guide the development of a plan for meeting the recreational demands of and creating new recreational opportunities for residents as part of the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). For this project, Responsive Management will conduct focus groups and a telephone survey and analyze the data.
