Abstract
Chapter 69, section 16(4)(b), Acts of the Sixty-third General Assembly, first session, empowers the Legislative Council to authorize meetings of subcommittees of standing committees of the Senate and House of Representatives during the interim between sessions of the General Assembly. Under procedures adopted by the Legislative Council's June 11, 1969 organizational meeting, a total of 26 subcommittees of standing committees were authorized to meet and work during the interim between the first and second regular sessions of the Sixty-third General Assembly. The reports of interim subcommittees received by the Legislative Council on December 16-17 have been compiled in this document to facilitate review of the reports by members of the General Assembly and other interested persons.
