Abstract
This handbook has been assembled to assist members of the clerical and professional staffs of the Department of Public Instruction in preparing manuscripts for publication. It should be helpful in achieving consistency of style and clarity of expression in Department publications. The handbook has purposely been made brief in scope and content. We hope this brevity will make possible a thorough reading by writers and committee members before they start preparation of manuscripts to be published by the DPI.
