Abstract
The Iowa Development Commission, with the assistance of the Iowa Employment Security Commission, has assembled a report showing the local wage rates for specific job classifications i.n twenty-seven (27) Iowa communities throughout the state. There is, admittedly, a variance in adjoining communities as well as the various industries; but this report reflects the minimum and maximum wage rates that are reported to the Employment offices and are generally representative of the various sections within the State of Iowa. If specific information about the wage structure of industry in any particular community is desired, it may obtained by contacting the Iowa Development Commission.
