Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide an updated, comprehensive, and quantitative assessment of groundwater availability in the Mississippian aquifer in north-central Iowa. The study area for the Mississippian aquifer includes all or part of ten counties as shown in Figure 1. The assessment included the development of a three-dimensional groundwater flow model to guide future development and utilization of the aquifer.
