Abstract
The Department of Human Services (DHS) provides services to over one million Iowans on an annual basis. DHS' core services and strategic goals are centered on: - Improving Iowans health status - Promoting Iowan's behavioral and disabilities health status - Improving safety, well-being and permanency for Iowa's children - Improving Iowan's employment and economic security, and - Efficiently managing resources.
