Abstract

This report describes an aerial magnetic survey performed for the Iowa Geological Survey by Lockwood, Kessler and Bartlett, Inc., Pasadena, California, during February and March 1972 covering that portion of Iowa lying south of latitude 40° 54' north and extending to its southern boundary. This area of about 5,200 square miles includes the entire southern tier of counties plus the southern portions of Henry and Des Moines Counties at the eastern end of the survey area.
