Abstract

This report has been prepared under the general authority contained in Chapter 455A, Code of Iowa 1958. This act directs the Iowa Natural Resources Council to make a comprehensive study and investigation of all pertinent conditions of the area in the state affected by floods; to determine the best method and manner of establishing flood control; to adopt and establish a comprehensive plan for all areas of the state subject to floods; and to determine the best and most practical method and manner of establishing and constructing the necessary flood control works.
