Abstract
Virtually all of the residents of Hardin County rely on groundwater as the source of their drinking water. Estimated use of groundwater in the county is approximately 1.2 billion gallons per year. The users of groundwater in the county draw their supplies from several different geologic sources. Various factors must be considered in determining the availability of groundwater.
