Abstract
The Iowa Geological Survey was charged with the responsibility of investigating Cold Water Cave and reporting to the Governor and the General Assembly the results of its investigations as they relate to the decision of how the State of Iowa should proceed in its relationship with those who now own the cave. This report makes available information on how the Geological Survey goes about this responsibly.
