Abstract

This manual offers some easy-to-follow guidelines for report writing. These guidelines should help establish uniform standards and eliminate confusion throughout the Department. This manual logically approaches the problem of report writing from beginning to end ... from the outline stage to the first draft, through final copy. Included are sample formats to follow while writing, as well as common do's and dont's governing style, mechanics, and illustration. The final section on publication procedures should help achieve a consistent, finished-looking product each time a publication undergoes the reproduction process.
