Speak Up Iowa! Public Input Final Report

Abstract

This report is the product of public input received through Speak Up Iowa! sessions across the state and online. Governor Chet Culver established the Speak Up Iowa! public input sessions as a way to hear directly from the public their views on disaster recovery needs and suggestions for meeting the needs of Iowans as the state rebuilds safer, stronger, and smarter from the 2008 storms, flooding and tornadoes. These sessions allowed Iowans to express their ideas and visions for rebuilding the state and directly informed the work of the Rebuild Iowa Office (RIO).
