Abstract

The study outlined in this report examines the relationship between network characteristics (i.e. density, total network size, and network composition) and communication patterns on a diverse range of topics including friendships, romantic relationships, and abstinence, as well as birth control and sex. The findings for this study come from pre- and post-test assessments conducted with adolescents before and after they took part in one of two adolescent pregnancy prevention programs: Teen Outreach Program (TOP) or Wise Guys.
