Abstract

The Statewide medical Education System for family practice resident training, created by an Act (Chap. 168) of the first regular session of the 65th General Assembly is in the middle of its second year of operation under the 1973-75 biennial appropriation. The purpose of this program is to stimulate the training of more family practice physicians and to encourage them to establish practice in the state of Iowa. In accordance with Section 5 of the Act the advisory board is making this report on the status of the program.
