More than seventy (70) workshops on civil rights law and racial sensitivity and tolerant behavior, including numerous television and radio interview spots, all over the state, were sponsored and conducted by the ICRC in Fiscal Year 1987. The ICRC also published four (4) issues of its quarterly newsletter, called the Communicator, containing articles written by civil rights attorneys and professionals on topical discrimination issues. Besides workshops and newsletters, the ICRC also handled more than 700 employer/landlord calls - questions and requests for information.
